2Contact form
The contact form on this website asks for your name and email address (required) as well as your phone number, the type of job and a message (optional).
The information is sent by email to info.algelectric@gmail.com and is used only to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a quotation. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)). Sending the form does not require separate consent, and no other information is collected with it.
To prevent automated spam, the form contains a hidden field that people using a browser do not see or fill in, and the number of messages sent from one IP address is limited. Messages that look like spam are marked as such, and the IP address and time of rejected or marked messages are recorded in a log on the server. If a message cannot be delivered, it is stored on the server so that no enquiry is lost. Access to these records is limited to the technical administrator of the website.
Messages are kept for as long as handling the enquiry requires.
3Recipients and processors
Personal data is not sold or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes. The following parties process data on behalf of the controller to the extent necessary for the website to function:
- Email service: form messages are received in the controller's Gmail mailbox, provided by Google.
- Technical administrator of the website, hosting service and email delivery service: operation of the website and delivery of form messages. They process data only on the controller's instructions.
- Authorities: on the basis of a statutory obligation or a binding decision by an authority.
4Transfers outside the EU
The website is hosted on a server located in Finland. Form messages are delivered through an email delivery service and received in Google's email service, so these service providers may process messages outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers rely on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
5Cookies and server logs
The website has no visitor tracking, analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not set cookies in your browser. Fonts and other files are loaded from the website's own server, not from external services.
As with web services in general, the server software records standard access logs, such as the time of the request, the page requested, the browser type and the IP address. The logs are used only to ensure the technical operation and security of the service. If visitor tracking or other services using cookies are introduced later, this policy will be updated and consent will be requested in advance where required.
6Data security
- The website uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and form data is transferred encrypted.
- The website and its backups are located on a server in Finland, and access to it is restricted with user IDs and passwords.
7Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- Access (Art. 15): obtain confirmation of whether your personal data is processed and a copy of the data.
- Rectification (Art. 16): have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected.
- Erasure (Art. 17): have your data erased when there is no longer a legal basis for processing it.
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18): have processing restricted in certain situations, for example while the accuracy of the data is being checked.
- Data portability (Art. 20): receive the data you have provided in a structured, machine-readable format when processing is based on a contract.
- Object (Art. 21): object to processing that is based on legitimate interest.
Requests can be sent to info.algelectric@gmail.com. We respond without undue delay, as a rule within one month. We may ask you to verify your identity before disclosing any data.
8Right to lodge a complaint
If you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority.
9Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy if our operations or the law change. The current version is always available on this page. This privacy policy was drawn up on 25 October 2026.
